The top dot com naming misreads!

Looks like these Companies that didn’t spend quite enough time considering how their online names might appear .. and be misread.

These are not made up. Check them out yourself! Read the web-sites names closely!

1. “Who Represents” is where you can find the name of the agent that represents any celebrity. Their Web site is www.whorepresents.com
Misread by many as “whore presents” do we need to say more!

2 . Experts Exchange is a very popular knowledge base where programmers can exchange
advice and views at its urls is www.expertsexchange.com
Misread by many as “experts sex change”.com

3. Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island at www.penisland.net
I wont go in the details about the above one.

4. Need a therapist? Try Therapist Finder at www.therapistfinder.com
when you look carefully it looks like “the rapist finder”.com

5. There’s the Italian Power Generator company, www.powergenitalia.com
I Wont get into details about the above, but I am sure you can figure it out!

6. And don’t forget the Mole Station Native Nursery in New South Wales, www.molestationnursery.com
Misread as “molestation nursery”.com

7. If you’re looking for IP computer software, there’s always www.ipanywhere.com
I read it as “I P anywhere” you see what i mean

8. The First Cumming Methodist Church Web site is www.cummingfirst.com
All I can say ouch!

9. And the designers at Speed of Art await you at their wacky Web site www.speedofart.com
I misread it as “speed of fart”.com

Making A file of the size you want

How to make a file of the size you want ?
Let us assume you want to make a file of size 10000kb
Convert it to bytes -> 10000*1024 which comes out to be 10240000 bytes

Open calculator (win key+r -> type in calc )
Choose view mode to be Scientific one
Type in 10240000 and convert it to hex it comes out to be 9C4000
Convert this value to 8 digits by padding zeroes to its left -> so finally it comes out be 009C4000

Open Command Prompt (win key + r -> type in cmd )
Type DEBUG filename.dat
it’ll show file not found error ,ignore it
Type RCX -> Enter -> then last four hexadecimal numbers i.e. 4000 ->Enter
Type RBX -> Enter -> then first four hexadecimal numbers i.e. 009C->Enter
Type W ->Enter
Type Q ->Enter

W stands for write and Q for quit

Now check the file you just made by dir command ->dir filename.dat

Using the same technique you can make files as big as you want

To do this:
1. Open Notepad.

2. Type the following:
[General]
Manufacturer=”your_name
[Support Information]
Line1= http://www.basenjoy.com
Line2= visit http://tipsfromgeek.com for more info

3. Save as “oeminfo.ini” in the System32 folder.(Without Quote)

4. Create a bmp file(Your Photo) and save it the System32 folder as “oemlogo.bmp”(Without Quote).The size of the image should be within 180 (wide) x120 (high) pixels

5. Now Check your My Computer Properties.

It’s tested and working.
