.nbu files are the backup files created when you create the backup for your Nokia Mobile. It is created using Nokia PC suite and later can be restored to your phone. Only problem is we can’t open the .nbu files without any nokia device.
To overcome this problem we have one software called NOKI. From their site:
Noki is a utility to explore and extract Phone book, SMS, Calendar, Memo, Bookmark and other user files from the backup file of Nokia phone (using Nokia PC Suite).

- Supports .nbu, .nfb and .nfc.
- contacts.cdb: Symbian Contacts Database for all Symbian phones (include Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson etc.).

from Noki v1.7 (www.nokisoft.com) it supports backup.arc (sd card backup of phone memory) .

Thanks a lot, but i have one query.
Noki software displays “phonebook (129)” but actually showing only 50 contacts. Why does it shows only 50 contacts? how can i see all the 129 contacts?

how i get my videos using noki software
Video files are extracted as normal user files. You can extract it directly – right click on the video files in the Noki nbu explorer and select “extract to…”. Details on video files recovery is at Noki Data Recovery Guide. Please check.
You might also try Noki Gems – a SMS merger for Nokia PC Suite .nbu files.
