Recently we discussed about TweetMyPC over here. Today I found one similar application which is more easy to use and does not require .NET Framework for running.
TwitAction uses twitter to trigger applications on your computer.You can define the keywords to listen and then the app will continuously check your account for the keyword. As soon as you tweet the defined keyword the associated program will be executed.
Control your PC using twitter
Click on “+” icon to define new keyword. Define the keyword in the first box and give the address of the application in the second box. Now just tweet the keyword and see if it is launching the associated app or not. You can also configure the time interval between each check.
You will require Java to run this application. You can download java runtime for your computer from here.
