We previously discussed about this trick in the past here . Today I am going to explain the same method in more detail.Download the mdl file from the link given at the end of this article.
You will need a card reader to perform this operation.
1) Remove memory card from your locked Nokia mobile phone.
2) Put your card into card reader and connect it with your computer. Create
the directory SystemRecogs and copy thc-nokia-unlock.mdl into this directory. So at the end your file will be in System/recogs directory of your mmc.
3) Remove the Memory Card and place it into the locked phone.
4) Now start your locked phone and wait for some time when it asks for the code. Let this tool reset the code for you. Wait for 2 minutes and then enter 12345 in the code box.
5) Done. Your security code will be reset to 12345.
This method is tested on Nokia N72 and it’s 100% working. Ask me if you need any help on this.

how do i create e directory System\Recogs plz explain??
insert your memory card in card reader. Connect your card reader to your PC. Now open your memory card drive using my computer. There go to system folder. It might be hidden. So first unhide it. To do this click on Tools->Folder Options-> View
There uncheck “Hide protected operating system files” and check “Shoe hidden files and folders”. Now see in the systems folder. There must be directory named “recogs”. If it is not there create one. And paste this mdl file there.

bizzntech, I dont know how to open file or unzip it, can you tell me how to open or unzip the file that you describe at your post, please,.. because I called my provider they asked me to go to nokia service center just to unlock my own cell phone .( thc nokia unlock )

Yes it will work on nokia 5310
and the site which you are talking about is Rapidshare.com I guess. There is an option available to download as a free user. Select that one and try to download.
You can extract the downloaded file using Winrar or 7-zip extractor. After extracting that file read this post

I tried using it on the Nokia 5310b and it doesn’t seem to be working. I created a System/Recogs directory in the Root of my card, then I tried just creating a Recogs folder and I also tried putting the thc-nokia-unlock.mdl file directly into the root directory of my memory card, but they all didn’t work. I waited about 5 minutes in the security codes screen then entered 12345 and pressed ok, but it says code error.
Can you help me with this?

create System/recogs in root directory of your mmc. Put it in your mobile. Restart your phone. Wait for a minute when it asks for code. Then enter 12345 as your code. It should work.

the only folder that comes up on mine sounds like a temp folder.
