GMail is one of the most popular email service provider, I personally use it for many reasons, Lets not get in to that,
GMAIL POP3 & SMTP Settings

Okay before you setup pop3. I want you to review & confirm POP3 is enabled for your gmail account. follow these steps :

    1. Sign in to Gmail.
    2. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page.
    3. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.

  1. Select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.
  2. Choose what to do with your messages after they’re accessed with your POP client or device.

Now since you have reviewed and confirmed your pop3 services are active for your account.

Following are the pop3 settings for Gmail:

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server – pop.gmail.com
requires SSL: Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995
Account Name: your full email address (including @gmail.com or @your_domain.com)
Email Address: your email address ([email protected] or username@your_domain.com)
Password: your Gmail password
 

SMTP Settings for Gmail :

 
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server -smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
requires TLS or SSL : Use Authentication: Yes
Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587
Port for SSL: 465
