Mozilla Thunderbird is one of the most popular desktop app used for reading and sending mails and managing RSS feeds. Though many new users does not know how to set it up for RSS feeds. Here is small “how to” on configuring Thunderbird for RSS feeds. Follow the simple steps given below.
- Open Mozilla Thunderbird. Click on tools in the menu bar and select account settings.

- “Click on Account Actions” drop down menu in the new window and select “Add other Account”

- Again a new Window will open. Select “Blogs & News Feeds” and click on next.

- Give the account name for the new account and click on Next and Finish.

- Now in your main Thunderbird Window a new account will appear. Click on that account and Select “Manage Subcriptions” in the right side pane. There you can add new feeds just by entering their feed URL. You can also import the list of feeds from the xml file.
