Grab your Outlook.com id now

Hotmail is now replaced by Outlook.com and it is the right time to grab your favorite outlook.com id before someone else gets it. Microsoft is on a sprint, changing things one after another. Just recently we discussed about Windows 8 release preview and Office 15. Now it’s turn for Hotmail.

The new Outlook.com is designed in the Metro style interface with a lot of new features. Skype integration, Facebook chat integration, SkyDrive, Office document apps and what not!! Personally, I am not a big fan of Microsoft’s email service but this one looks promising and  I am surely going to give this one a try. The new clean and simple look is likeable. It might take some time for getting used to the new kind of user interface though.

Here is a quote from Outlook blog

And of course Outlook.com comes with the features you’d expect from any email service. Building on our past work with Exchange and Hotmail, we provide an inbox with virtually unlimited storage, industry leading spam protection, and rock solid account protection powered by your Microsoft account. Outlook.com also works great with the Outlook desktop application, and as you’d expect from a personal email service, it’s free.

Well, enough is said. It’s time to check out the new service. Head to Outlook.com and login with your existing Microsoft id or sign up for your preferred id asap. Old Hotmail users can upgrade to Outlook preview by clicking on “Upgrade” in the options menu of Hotmail. Do share your views using the comment box below.
