Opera recently made available its opera 11.10 a.k.a. Opera Barracuda for download. New added features of this good looking browser are :

Plugin installation wizard

  • Enables easy installation of, for example, the Flash plug-in if it is missing from the system.

WebP

Opera adds support for the Google WebP image format.

  • This enhances Opera Turbo’s compression performance with images.

Feature discoverability

  • Subtle animations and messages have been added to improve discoverability of Opera features.

 

Opera DragonFly beta

  • A firebug kind of tool to debug your scripts and inspect webpages. Must have for all web developers.

Aura is a freeware developed to make your Windows 7 look more beautiful. This software takes  the average color of your desktop’s background image and sets it as the aero glass color in Windows 7. This feature is said to be there in Windows 8 operating system. Not sure about the Windows 8 system but you can have it in your Windows 7.

You can download this software from the link given below. Just extract the zip file and run the exe.  Tick the “Get color from wallpaper” option and click Ok and just see the magic. See how the aero color changes as you change your wallpaper.

How to view saved passwords in Mozilla Firefox

Many times it happens that you store a password in your desktop PC and next time when you need to type that password again to use somewhere else you don’t remember it. Instead of asking for a new password you can simply find out your old password from Firefox. Just follow the steps given below. I will be using the Firefox 4 for this. Same can be done in older versions as well.

  1. Click on the Firefox button (Left-top) .
  2. Select Options -> Options.
  3. An options window will pop up. In this click on security tab and under this click on “Saved Passwords” button.
  4. Find the site name and the username you are looking for using the search box and click on the “Show Passwords” button and you can see the previously stored password.
